Dr. Mayur Shirish Jain is an Assistant Professor (Grade I) at the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Indore, and the Research Lead at STWUTEE Lab. He was awarded the Young Achievers Award 2020 by INSc, India, and the Best Paper Award 2021.
Pioneering rotary drum composting and nutrient recovery research at IIT Guwahati, his work integrates biochar-enhanced composting, anaerobic digestion, water quality assessment, and circular economy frameworks aligned with UN SDGs 6 and 12.
